School vice principal arrested for stealing woman's underwear in Kanagawa

KANAGAWA — Police on Sunday arrested a man for stealing women's underwear in Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Yasuo Nakajima, 54, who is the vice principal of an elementary school in the city, was arrested for allegedly stealing a 23-year-old female postgraduate student's panties from a clothesline on her balcony around 10 p.m. on Saturday.

According to police, the victim's roommate, 24, heard a noise and saw a man leaving the first-floor balcony area and get into a car. She noted license plate number and called police who tracked the driver down around midnight. Police said Nakajima stole the panties after attending a PTA meeting. "I've always had a thing for women's underwear and have stolen a lot of panties," he was quoted as saying.

CHIBA — Police on Thursday arrested a maternity clinic doctor in Funabashi for secretly taking photos of a female patient during a medical examination last April. The doctor, Hiroshi Shimizu, 50, had already been arrested once before, for taking photos up a woman's skirt at a train station with a mobile phone camera last August. After that incident, he was sentenced to one year in prison, suspended for three years.

Police said that Shimizu was arrested for allegedly taking photos of a female patient, 27, with a digital camera during a gynecologic examination on a table with a curtain between them. Police said that when they raided Shimizu's home, they found about 15,000 photos, including nine photos of patients taken at the clinic.

Shimuzu was quoted by police as saying: "I took the photos for medical research."

Again, totally understandable.

Tokyo teacher arrested for stealing boys' underpants at knifepoint

TOKYO — A 26-year-old male teacher at a primary school in western Tokyo was arrested Monday on suspicion of stealing underpants from junior high school boys aged 12-13 whom he forced to disrobe at knifepoint, police said. Takayuki Yamamoto, who teaches sixth grade at Hamura Nishi Elementary School, has admitted to the allegations, the police said.

Officials of the Hamura city education board said there had been no problems with his work.

He is suspected of ordering eight boys who were playing on the grounds of an elementary school in Akishima, also in western Tokyo, on the night of Jan 20 to take off their pants at knifepoint.

Two of them escaped but the remaining six boys were forced to take off their jeans and underpants, which the teacher is suspected of stealing, the police said.

The teacher is also suspected of taking a mobile phone from one of the boys and making a nuisance call to his home after the incident.

Hmm...he offered no explanation for his actions.  Now THAT is suspicious.
