And for the record, I did not drink a gallon of orange juice. I had two glasses of milk, one beer, two Grape sodas, a hot dog, a crapload of Doritos and crepes all day yesterday.

This monday blows. I found out that the spending account I opened last year to cover dental expenses this year is basically unusable, and I may not be able to fucking cancel it. So basically:

1) I can't afford the pretty in-depth dental treatment I need (the sides of my mouth are constantly in mild pain, and the right side of my mouth has been bleeding pretty much constantly for an indeterminate amount of time).
2) I am paying 400 dollars a month into a medical spending account that I can't use. At the end of the year, I do not get the money back, either. That is 4800 dollars wasted this year that I will never see.

I am pretty god damned pissed.

The way the benefit was originally presented to me was that it was basically a loan to cover medical costs. I knew I had ~6000 dollars worth of dental work this month, so I opened an account for 5k (my shitty dental insurance would cover the remainder). Today, I find out that the way the accounts was was misrepresented, and I still have to pay for the work, but the account people would reimburse me after the fact. Note that I have to send them my bills, and they will get me the money back, which means a fucking month of wrangling with insurance fucks. The whole POINT of the account is that it's supposed to be able to pay for a big treatment that I can't normally afford out-of-pocket.

So basically, the type of account was misrepresented to me, and now I am paying quite a bit of money a month for something I can't use. Meanwhile, my fucking MOUTH IS CONSTANTLY BLEEDING. Oh well, guess that will never get fixed.

I could afford the dental shit in approximately a month, but only if I delayed my school plans, which I am not willing to do. Plus, if I were paying out of pocket for dental shit, I'd feel like I were being ripped off. I like knowing that my teeth are in good health and all, and that I'm not in pain or bleeding, but to me, that's not worth paying thousands and thousands of dollars for. It's such a fucking ripoff.

I am torn on what my next SLI will be. The Canon 40D is nice, but the upcoming XSi is better in most regards. The thing is, the Digital Rebel models are a bit too small for my hands. I am debating switching teams to Nikon, because that camera kills both the 40D and the XSi, and it's larger so it can fit well in my hands. It's a smidge more expensive, but I need more space on the camera's body to be able to comfortably and firmly hold it while still being able to manipulate settings.

Oh well, at least I haven't purchased all that many lenses
