My old copy died from abrasion, had to replace.

Cheap and used. I love me a good Adam Sandler or Lewis Black CD for car trips.

I have it, I bought it when it first came out. I love El-Hazard. I will be a total japafag and admit I got a wee bit teary-eyed at the ending of the original OAV when I first saw it. "For a hundred thousand nights, I dreamed only of you."

I also have The Alternative World DVDs but it kinda sucks and it feels like the series got cancelled halfway since it doesn't have a decent conclusion. Now I just need The Wanderers.

El Hazard was awesome. This was back when anime was GOOD.

But I can't remember what I watched.

What were the OVAs called, and what was the first TV series called? I want to say that I saw them both.

First OAV series was called El-Hazard The Magnificent World. It was seven episodes (I think). Then came the TV series which was released in the US as The Wanderers (JP title was something else tho). Then came the second OAV series which was titled El-Hazard The Magnificent World 2. And finally, the second TV series which was called El-Hazard The Alternative World.

All the series take place in the same universe except for The Wanderers which is an alternate continuity thing.
