Stop talking about Wing and start talking about the Casval Gundam I posted. It is TEH AWESOME. I may buy it today and then I will start a thread about sexy action figures and everyone will post their action figures and we will all be happy together and everyone will be like "hahahah, we are nerds!"

I have a "Beyond the Grave" action figure,I bought it a few years ago for $50.It sits in my window nowadays,it's pretty ace.

omfg does the fighter SEPARATE? I haven't been able to buy one of those in forever.

way back in 81 around the release of the third film i had a ton of the toys which have since been lost to the mists of time, but one of the ones i loved but have never been able to replace that toy

Yes, the core fighter separates! This is the Casval (Char Aznable) version of the original Gundam. There's also a version with the traditional red, white, blue and yellow colors, and a G3 Gundam version with a mostly gray paint job. The Casval version is cheaper because it only comes with the figure, core fighter, shield, beam sabers, bazooka, beam rifle, and extra hands, while the other versions come with all that plus an extra shield, extra bazooka, and G-Fighter which can combine into tank, g-sky, etc. modes.

It looks REALLY nice, they had it on display last weeked in Akihabara. It basically looks like a 1/100 scale model that's already been assembled and pre-painted.

Ichi, do you ever check out the recycle shops in your area? You can often find stuff like this cheaper, and not necessarily "used." Places like Hobby-Off and Volks are the best.

There's a recycle shop near me, but this is new so I'm betting they wouldn't have it.

The coolest thing I've seen at a recycle shop was a PSX (not a PSOne, a PSX - the PS2-playing luxury gadget thing).

Something happened with Sony abandoning all support for them, too. IIRC DCharlie had bought one and was quite pissed off about something getting fucked up with the PSXs.

It's from the strategy game Mobile Suit Gundam: Gihren's Greed. In the game you can actually steal the design plans from Project V and have Zeon build its own Gundam, and give it to Char.

I think the Nu Gundam looks really cool even though the fins must be kinda annoying for model builders. Isn't the design older than 10 yrs old? It's amazing how it doesn't look dated at all.

The movie is from 1990, I think.

And the Gundam series with the glowing hand Gundam and the french Gundam was G Gundam.
