Golden Delicious
Granny Smith
Honey Crisp

Wow, I never knew there were so many kinds of apples.  My experience with apples boils down to red and green.

Red delicious apples are the generic supermarket apples.  They do not live up to their name.

Unless you get really lucky, Red Delicious apples are typically mushy...  :-\
