New wireless mice from MS

MS dudes, are they selling these at the company store yet?   It's too bad that they're not gaming mice, but they look so awesome that I might just get one for non-gaming purposes.

There're not many special features since they aren't gaming mice.  BTW, I came really close to getting a Logitech G9 this week.  But in the end, I decided that I really wouldn't be able to adjust to a mouse made for claw gripping.

Here are the descriptions of the new MS mice from PC mag:

The Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 has a new design, combining a "full-size mouse for supreme comfort with a portable snap-in transceiver for easy mobility."

The other mouse, the Wireless Laser Mouse 7000, features a horizontal charging station, mini transceiver, and an ergonomic shape for ultimate comfort. One AAA rechargeable battery is said to offer up to three weeks of power from one full charge.

Both feature Microsoft's High- Definition Laser Technology and wireless technology using 2.4GHz frequency and work from up to 30 feet away from the transceiver.

In addition, each mouse offers one-click access to the Windows Vista Flip 3D feature, which lets users flip through open windows and quickly

I am addicted to my past two mice, both of which have had dps switchers right on the back, so I can switch on the fly.  It is brilliant for photo editing.

My G9 goes up to 2000 DPI and can switch on the fly between 3 different settings.  It's the best wireless gaming mouse right now.  The main flaws are the lack of secondary buttons and short battery life.  It comes with 2 rechargable batteries but each only lasts around 6hrs.  For day to day use, the new MS wireless mice seem to be better choices.

Holy shit, that is short battery life.  I am willing to remain tethered until I can have high dpi without shit battery life.

You mean the G7 don't you?  I don't see a wireless G9, and the site says they go up to 3200dpi...?  I'm in the market for a new gaming mouse, so I'm just wondering :)
