I grow more and more partial to Rose, Gen, and Karin these days. I bring out Ken when I wanna do things easy.

Dan, 'Gief, Chun-Li, Cammy, and R. Mika are probably my most-played characters. Mainly Zangief, Cammy, and Chun-Li. I do enjoy using V-Ken, V-Sakura, and V-Akuma in Alpha 3 for Shotoz.

The only game I'm not partial to Chun-Li in is 3rd Strike (and by extension, I guess CvS2 and CFE too). So I hope the SF4 Chunz is more like the SSF2T version.

Given my general disdain for V-ism, it shouldn't be a shock that my favs are Guy, Gen, and Dhalsim (or the only three characters that can hold their own in A-ism with the upper tier V's, or in Dhalsim's case, trounce them). I also really dig Sagat, Charlie, Cody, Sodom, and if you count SFA3 Upper, Fei Long.

She is AWESOME in Alpha 3. Her drill kick can GO UNDER PROJECTILES if you time it right. And her backhand slap can go RIGHT THROUGH some projectiles and land on the enemy. And never forget! KILLER BEE!!!!

I need to get SFA3 compressed and permanently on my memory stick. Anyone know how big the file is? Plus which app for ripping UMDs is best?

I usually just play the CPS2 version, but I'd like to have Upper without load times.

It took me forever to realize, but when you do a somersault kick with Guile, he says somersault, at least in SFA3. When I was playing on my PSP and heard how he says "somersault", I have to say I laughed a bit.

SFA3 Max is 236 megabytes (ISO).

I might as well ask here. Does anyone know if Ryu's Shin-Shoryuken has any use to it (in SFA3)? It does shit for damage and takes 3 bars to pull off using the V-ism.

You need to make contact at a very specific spot just outside of sweep range in order for it to do any decent damage. A very unlikely scenario. Not at all useful.

CPS and Neo-Geo PSP emulators

I hope one day NJ or someone else adds fullscreen TV out to those emus and they'll be absolutely perfect. BTW I find the 2.5 CPS emus are great, but 2.4 is best for Neo-Geo.

I'm still primarily a Ryu guy, although I like playing about with Ken from time to time. I bust out my Blanka when I want 'easy mode'.

That said, I still think SF4 looks good

I'm surprised more people don't like Cody. He is one of the more fun characters to use in V-ism. He has nice V combos that do some good damage, are relatively easy to do, and have a bit of variety to them, decent priority on his normals, and he has that tricky auto-dodge thing that trips up all but veterans. And he has that knife to work with, provided you can get around to pick it up. All around awesomeness.
