I think any new car with space dedicated for just a "clock" needs a kick in the ass....just combine that with the navi or touchscren computer....

Iv seen it - it looks like a fun sports car.

I have never driven a suba.

My top priority is a larger more comfortable car - then if i feel like spending more go for a sports car as second priority.

Im so burned from my infiniti investment that ill likely just get a new MAxima and only drive that for a while.

As it is now I only drive my Maxima and the G stays in the garage - it also only has 19,000 miles on it :(

I dont want to drive it in the city because the gear shifting every 3 feet in a traffic jam sucks.

It's a Holden you fucking distinguished mentally-challenged fellow.

It's certainly on my buy list in the next year or two.

BTW I'm not the only one who likes it, it's the golden boy of the international press. It's among the best mainstream large cars in the world dude.

England:

Australia:

USA:

It's certainly a relevant competitor to the car in question that no one seems to give a shit about.

BTW, you also seem to be totally out of the loop on GM's design revolution in the last few years. Read up.

Read this:

Maybe you'll understand that this vehicle has nothing to do with 10 year old Pontiacs.

I suggested that you read more since GM's turnaround has been the talk of the press for the last 2 years and you've somehow entirely missed it.

I test drive tons of cars. I've driven the CTS, G35, and TL, all of which I've recommended over the Maxima. MKZ and 300C too actually.

TF mate?

How is me liking MAxima and looking forward to the 2009 model bullshit?

Why are you really here spamming this car? I think there are greater emotions at play.

Get in touch with yourself.

I mean if you made a thread about the launch of that pinto you like - I would read it, and like your info, but I wouldnt be up in a thread about a car you clearly like trolling the fukk out of it hahahah...

So what are you realy doing here? Disproving that I like MAxima? What?

hahahah

The bullshit part is your endless tirade against Pontiac without listening to what the G8 is or knowing anything about it, trashing Saturn when it has like 6 models and none of them are older than 18 months, trashing GM when they hold the North American Car of the Year and the Motor Trend Car of the Year and trashing GM when the CTS, Malibu, and Enclave are the quickest-turning cars in the country, or your fucking distinguished mentally-challenged comments about analog clocks that just show you to be totally out of touch with the industry. All of which, of course, you totally drop once shot down.

I'm spamming the G8 because people here like it and people here don't like the Maxima, and because I believe it to be the better buy that is more than worth your time to try out instead of just stonewalling it like an asshole who hasn't read a magazine in 3 years.

Then you make these dumbass pinto comments when the second car I suggested is the super jappy Acura TL (which I've also driven).

Man - I just dont like those rides - im allowed to like or not like whatever I choose! Right? (am I on GAF?)

I mean are you GM or something? Why take it so personally that MAxima is just something im into and have been since I was a little wanker.

Iv owned 4 of these bad boys and keep buying them regardless of the fact that I can afford higher priced sleds. Im humble enough to love the maxima and feel good driving the new model every few years.

It has always delivered (well I didnt like 6th gen so much)

Dude - my comment started off as nothing but a jokey one liner. Then you belted out more ignorance about the G8, which I've ignored in the past, and I decided to call you out on it. My second post in the thread is complimenting older Maximas, and even the current one before other cars overtook it.

It seems that you're the one who's Nissan, not me who's GM. If you want your FWD than the TL or perhaps the MKZ is the way to go. But I know what it is to have abnormal affection to a particular vehicle, I'm not trying to diss your car. Just calling out your falsehoods (which I rarely do compared to your volume) and giving the other people on this site cars they like to look at.

hey funny story - I drove a few saturns recently - when I put the car in park all of the doors unlocked....?!?!? I say to the guy "I can disable that right?" (major security issue)

He says "no its a feature" - he says "You just dont put it in park if you dont want the doors to unlock"

I left the lot ASAP.

So back to the maxima re-design for 2009 - intrigued by the shots - so much for the suicide doors? Or is this the low end model?

I am not pretending to be an "auto guy"

I just drive the cars and buy the cars - I dont work on them, sell them, read about them or anything.....I just drive and buy....

I think its all pretty hands on really ;)

What will you do if the Maxima has an analog clock?

haha well my current maxy doesn't and neither does the 2008.

I will say that I like everything combined in single displays. 20 little tacked on nook and cranny devices sucks. everything uses the same screen as the Navi and there are no gay subscription services...you just use the standard GPS, etc..

Fukk - go all out and give me one big touchscreen.

They better do something >special here< for the interior if they want it to be MAXIMA.

Most of the 2009 similar class 4dsc's shown all have that same olde interior from mid 200X.

They need to impress in that regard and really make this a re-design. I hope it follows the very open design of the concept.

I dont want to spend more than 40K.

GT-R starts at like 69K

Plus I want the Maxima anyway regardless of what anyone is impressed with heh.
