on eb games and gamestop website it lists the game only for the 360. no ps3 version. these sites are usually true with these things. sony is well and truly fucked now

That's not the reason why it's off. There really is no solid proof, because the Internet reserve list is all garbage. It'd be a bit more shady if it disappeared off the reserve list at the stores, but considering can't pre-order RE5 for either system at any GameStop - don't get worried.
