Nah don't do that. He'll ask why you didn't get a cab. Go to wxyz.com and look up school closings. Find one closest to you, make sure there's proof it snowed there, and tell the teacher you were snowed in from (insert town/city). I did this last week

Good luck. Just having a few extra hours to study saved me last week. Last thursday I had my econ test at 9:30am, but I wasn't ready. So I emailed the teacher and told him the snow was too bad for me to get to class; I found out Lapeer, Flint got hit with 12 inches of snow so I said I was there, visiting my grandparents lol. He let me come take it at 6:30pm

I'm so sick of this shit. I live in Iowa and the past three months has been hell. You get a couple days of warming temperatures and then a couple days of near zero temperatures. Right now, we have more ice than we do snow, including ice that has been around since December. I wish I was making that up.

I think it was about -10 with the wind chill in Brooklyn and NYC this morning. My train has an outdoor platform and is fairly close to the water, so we were getting 45 mph gusts while waiting.

It was 8 degrees F/-13 C tonight when I was coming home from school.

I love the cold. Love love love it. Even when it practically makes my face freeze, I always think of how I'd rather this than hot hot summer.

[Edited to add Celcius conversion because a guess of -6 was apparently way off.]
