I'm in a rut on the high end of average.  If I want to jump to the "next level" I think I need some sort of major purchase, and the market right now is, well, it's not a particularly good time for major purchases.  I'm waiting a year, at least, before I consider any real big purchases.

my credit score is awful - I have no credit, no debt and pay cash for everything.

yay cash!

One time I tried to finance part of a car and they rejected me so i just bit the bullet and wrote a check for the whole delivered total.

Now I dont even bother.

My bank would give me a loan - but thats about it...haha
