the stories are really good, and yes a couple are predictable, but while i wouldn't change the stories themselves i would definitely tweak the writing style just a little bit.

Finished the Uhra dungeons last night, my party was so awesome they were one shotting everything.

For some reason I can get Perfect's really easy with Sed but not with anyone else.

I've only used guides to find out the locations of sidequest stuff, items that I might have missed, and thebsecret conditions for the backyard fights. I haven't needed it for dungeons or boss fights so far.

How the fuck do I get the Trookys to steal the Talisman? They steal everything but that. Do I need to run into Trookys that are near where the Queen is or can I just stay at the entrance to Ancient Ruins?

they sohuld take it pretty quickly. If they arent taking it within 5 trys just come back later on after youve done some more stuff. I did that and had both the crown and talisman stolen first swipe.

Yeah, I wanna finish LO too while it still has some value. I rarely trade in games but I'll trade in LO since I don't replay J-rpgs.

Disc 4 seems to breeze by pretty soon once you've done the sidequest in Gongora's garden. You're almost overpowered after that sidequest.

I got lost in the Temple of Enlightenment. I went in at level 52. Right now I'm at level 77. I'll be level 80+ once I leave. I should have beat the game before I came to this place. $:-\$

For those who don't know, you level up after just about every fight in this place.

I really hate the old school design that forces the gamer to use a guide if he doesn't want to waste his time going through the whole map. I didn't even know to go to Numura port after the Lost Ruins until consulting a guide.

i don't think that's old school so much as bad. even the old DQ games give you directions if you chat up the villagers.

I just beat the Numerean general. That was actually a pretty tough fight.

Next, I'm going to get the +10 slot accessory at the atoll. What lvls do my characters need to be before I try to finish the game? Everyone in my party is basically around LVL 50.

there is a place called forgotten cave or some shit, go there and get seth ultimate weapon + an accessory that nullifies ailments, pretty handy when fighting the last boss.

50 is more than enough for the end to be easy.

My main dudes were at 52 or so and the weakest were 49 and it was a joke. I didn't even have the element null or ailment null items.

Well, I've finally finished all th sidequests except for finding all the seeds (I have 88) and that treasure trove bullshit. Everyone learned all their skills except for the immortals. I'm just gonna go beat the game now. 900/1000 is good enough for me.

Take out the middle guy first, use rings that hurt Mechanical, cast Shield, Power

Use all immortals + Sed at this point, unless you're grinding skills for people

I'm trying to get 3x hit for Mack...then I'm done. I have level 6 white magic and level 6 black magic, which is enough I think. I'm gonna swap out Mack and Jansen as soon as all my immortals know persistence. I hate ming so much.

seems like no matter what i do, the thing sucks all my MP and then destroys shitty Mack before he can cast powerus. though sarah knows it, i may just forgo him all together.

is it better to have sed in the front or the back? does the extra GC help?

Kaim + Seth in front, the rest in back

You can make Power Drinks from the piplets by giving them Fire / Water / Earth items (I think 2 Fires equal a Power Drink)
