what's the best place to grind so far? I can't get to ToE until I beat kakanas

Gongora's garden.  You'll get to 50 easy.

Btw, I picked up the +10 slot and full immunity accessories.  Think I'll go beat the game now.

what's the best way to kill the silver keleons?

i need to majorly grind i think. i'm about level 42 and I cannot beat the kakanas tanks no matter what i do. party suggestions and tips plz.

gamble magic. use turn tail if you have to fight the other thing.

the keleons will flee after one attack usually so gamble magic is the best bet. have two people casting gamble and two using casting support to speed up their casting

The other thing is what I was using for leveling! it went down pretty easily.

Anyway, I just beat Grand Staff. There was no save point in that entire thing. I unleashed two Experiments accidentally and would definitely have been wiped out if not for Persistence. Persistence is basically this game's guts  :lol

I think I'm level 47 now going for the flying grand staff. if that's not good enough, I'll head for the ToE, but I've ground enough for one day.

Instead of grinding, why don't you guys just do the sidequests? I reached level 50 before even going to the Temple of Enlightenment just by doing the sidequests.

I don't think you can do them until you get the white boa (when markers appear on the map), which was after Kakanas, which was where I needed to grind.

Anyway, I just beat Grand Staff. There was no save point in that entire thing.

That's some terrible level design.  My party was too powerful to die against any enemy in there, even the experiments, but I just wanted to take a break after getting lost in the maze for 2hrs.

The trial and error gameplay of the fight against the 6 saints was just as annoying.  They couldn't do any damage to me but it took awhile to figure out what would harm each of them.

I beat it earlier today with 900/1000 points. Cool game, but I won't be going back for the last 100.

I remembered from when you controlled Gongora to kill them. Most of them were pretty obvious even if you didn't completely remember that.

like beezy said, that's why they let you control gongora in disc 3.

Finally beat it today.  I think I only had 600 achievements or so.  Not going to bother with the rest though.

Is it just me or was the last part really tedious?  The combination of few save pts, convoluted mazes and frequent random encounters almost made me want to give up.  My party had no trouble staying alive.  It just got really boring.  Luckily, the boss fights were fun.

I've been playing LO on and off for the last few months so I didn't remember that.  Now that you mention that sequence, it makes a lot more sense.

I think LO's end sequence (after final fight) is really good. It just left too many questions for me.

Yeah, I liked it too, except for the close-ups of that nasty looking old maid.  The music was fantastic.  I think they're leaving some room for a sequel or spin-off.

I'm not a graphics whore, but something tells me I would've liked this game more if it was using a good graphics engine. Oh, and if its story and characters was handled by the guy who did the dreams.

Horrible game. 2/10. Still waiting for Atlus to develop what will be the definitive next-gen jRPG experience, SMT4.

I was starving for a jRPG. Unfortunately, I only had this shit to play.

And the thing that ruined this game ever more...MEGA-SPOILERS

They kinda killed off Seth, the only great character in the game.

Jansen and his jokes were stupid. I wanted to gouge my eyes out everytime his fucking disgusting face appeared on my television. Plus, I hate the cool-acting guy with a big heart cliché more than any other cliché, especially when it's done horribly.

Kaim, like Ming, was interesing in the 1,000 Year Dreams. Unfortunately, like Ming, he was incredibly boring in the actual game.

Oh, and all of the dramatic parts in this game failed miserably. Like, as miserably as an ugly, pathetic dog bleeding to death in an alley. HOWEVER, all of the dramatic parts in the dreams worked very well. Remember Seth's Dream Parts 1 & 2? Fucking beautiful.

What happened? All I remember about Disc 3 was that I controlled two shitty casters and that Sheena Easton started singing and shit.

And sewers. Oh fucking jesus the sewers.

Yeah, everyone was saying disc three is so awesome. But, so far I think disc two is better by a huge margin. I mean...I quit playing during disc three.

It was GAF that was saying it overwhelmingly. I should have known better though.

Curious about how much I have left on disc 3:

Yea, Disc 2 is better than Disc 3. But iirc you have just come to the end of the dragging part, disc 3 has a strong finish.
