That depends highly on personal taste. Blade Runner blew me away visually and character wise, especially this scene:

Everything in there is just so fucking cool. The part where he turns on the blinds was a big wow moment, I just remember thinking holy shit this is the best thing I've ever seen.

As for Ghost in the Shell, call it whatever you want...it still animates like, well, anime. Which I really don't like. It's the way how everything moves so choppy and unrealistic that bothers me, especially how they animate people. $:-\$

The J-pop with female vocals doesn't add any cool points, either.

I'm glad I saw Blade Runner for the first time knowing absolutely nothing about it. One day I saw it posted on Joox and was like "hey, that's the movie with the steel DVD box gaf likes", so I decide to give it a go, and due to a tragic confusion of movie titles, went in fully expecting black Dante here to engage in some corny vampire slaying:
