Makes sense on the Wii, Spore is more of a casual non-game. Xbox/PS3 fans want real games like Turok and The Spiderwick Chronicles.

Also, don't forget that this isn't going to require a top of the line system to play.  He was aiming for scalability.  I bet he was disappointed at how long it took Sims 2 to really catch on due to its semi-demanding requirements at the time.

Interesting, there actually appears to be some hint of gameplay elements outside of the editor foolery in thsoe screenshots.

It will be interesting to see if Soren Johnson was able to salvage this game from Wright's self-indulgent mess.
