First offense, feel pretty stupid about it. Louisiana is cracking down now, and I got a tough judge. I was the only one to get house arrest though, everyone else went to jail for 2-10 days. Ended up with a $635 ticket, and I have about 8 classes to go to. These classes also cost money...so my tax refund pretty much vaporized.

I also get 9 months probation (no drinking or going to bars!) and have yet to hear back about my liscense.

At least my wife isn't mad about no valentine's...I'll just take her out to eat tomorrow.

Cabs aren't really an option out in the country. Anyway, it was just a fucked-up night, the whole thing could have been avoided any number of ways. It was totally stupid, and I'm pretty angry at myself over it.

Silver lining, it made me totally paranoid about drinking and driving, and I have been drinking less in general afterward.
