I forgot that Combat Rock was actually a great record.

When I was reassembling my music collection four years back, I skipped Combat Rock because in my head it was one of the lesser Clash albums.  In a fit of boredom, I nabbed it, and I forgot how much awesome shit was on this.

1. Know Your Rights (3:40)
2. Car Jamming (4:00)
3. Should I Stay or Should I Go (3:09)
4. Rock the Casbah (3:43)

5. Red Angel Dragnet (3:45)
6. Straight to Hell (5:32)

7. Overpowered by Funk (4:52)
8. Atom Tan (2:30)
9. Sean Flynn (4:32)
10. Ghetto Defendant (4:44)
11. Inoculated City (2:41)
12. Death Is a Star (3:14)

That's more than half an album of pure awesome.  And I like, forgot that Car Jamming is pretty much my favorite Clash song.

Was Straight to Hell written for the Alex Cox movie of the same name (which features Joe Strummer) or did Cox name it after the song?  It's featured on the soundtrack, at any rate.

The song is from 82-83, and the movie is from 87, so the song comes first.  That's an awesome song, too.

TVC, what do you use to listen to music?  I'm looking for 5.1 headphones to use with the PC.  Are there any good ones?  I know the first gen 5.1 headphones didn't sound very good.

I use Sennheiser 595s while at my computer.  I don't know anything about surround sound headphones, sorry :(
