My Powerbook and I have a very healthy relationship. We've been together for 3 years without any serious issues, the time I spilled water on it not withstanding (Sorry abby luv u 4 real). Powerbook's warranty just ended last Friday. Since then, the power port has. Collapsed? It broke, somehow and now to get the battery to charge, I have to plug something into the USB port and then jam a quarter between the USB plug and the power plugin thingy. Why? Who knows. But now the fan starts, runs for like 4 seconds, stops, runs, stops. Repeat.

Three years and not a peep of bullshit and now it's asplodin. Ugh.

I usually open the >ultima< support ticket right at the end of the warranty...call them up and say what I gota say to get a new kbd, display, etc...
