that's a link to the premium SKU but they all say the same thing; discontinued by manufacturer: yes. I guess they're going to announce something big for GDC. I thought the recent 360 shortages were because they were getting rid of old 360's for a more reliable one (there was a rumor about a new 65nm GPU?) but apparently they're also going to change up the bundles a lot. sounds very exciting.

I don't know if that's a mistake or what but with the supply problems, and tech issues from earlier versions, it seems to me that MS is gearing up for a new model and/or price drop. The consumers have shown MS that they don't give a damn about the Arcade SKU so maybe they're also going back to 1 or 2 models.

Either way, MS is obviously up to something.

I don't think they'll ever do that now. too easy to charge up the ass for the difference between a 'casual' and 'hardcore' sku. I'm 90% sure nintendo will also do something like that next-gen.
