Lost Odyssey: Awesome cept for those Disc Read Errors

None of my other games do this. Disc is fine, happened once during a battle transition and once during an area load. Fun times. Good thing my other games dont do this LAWL.

Oh well, it was a fun 2.5 hours, ill try again tomorrow.

Might just be a crappy disc.  I've had discs which look perfectly fine give me DREs.

One employee who bought it had the same problem, but everyone else has been cool.  There must be a few bad discs out there.

One (out of like 6) time I fought the first boss, I casted a Barrier spell and the music gave out... you'd still hear the battle themes but no music. Weird.

I knew it.  You should just exchange your disc, MAF.  Do it while it's within the time limit so GameStop doesn't hassle you about it.

My very 1st disc has a funny looking streak going across it.  Crossing my fingers.

I would honestly try to return it as soon as possible, not because I fear GameStop will give you the shaft (never know!), but because the game is becoming hard to keep in stock.  Word of mouth has really made it sell through.  One of the highest percentage of reservation pick-ups too.  And to make it even better, folks are actually buying the strat guide for it.

It's weird how Mistwalker RPGs get such low reviews and yet everybody I've ever spoken to who's played them loves them to death.  Glad to see LO selling really well but that's all the more reason for MAF to exchange his copy as soon as possible.

I didn't much like BD and I'm thinking LO won't be my cup of tea either.  Not everyone likes them; I personally think that the FF series has gone much cooler places since they turned the franchise over to people who AREN'T Sakaguchi.  Just my two cents.

I got some skipping right at the beginning of the theme song.  The game was able to keep playing but I'm going to exchange for a new copy, just in case it's unplayable later on.  Luckily, I'm not a dumbass that uses cash instead of credit card to pay for my games and movies.

I got a new copy and its been flawless. Friday I am taking off in honor of my b-day, I have a feeling I will be putting in more LO time. Ive only got like 4 hours into it so far.
