What kinda surgery did you get this morning?

Nothing too major. Some oral/dental work needed to be done. They had me put me under and everything. Had the ECG machine, etc. I'd never had any sort of surgery before, so I was nervous as all hell when I walked in there, and it resembled an ACTUAL operating room.



Waking up was one of the more bizarre experiences of my life.

They put me out for an endoscopy a few years before and waking up was definitely weird.  It just felt like I had closed my eyes for a second and when I opened them, 2 hours had passed.  I can't wait to see what it's like when I work with surgical patients.

yeah.  It definately felt like the two hemispheres of my brain were dueling bajos. For a long while two of everything could be seen as though both sides were acting independently of eachother?

 I don't understand that phenomenon.


Do you think you'll see patients pop throbbing boners or say just absurd things? You should keep a journal of that should it seem so.

I used to use oxycontin semi-regularly.  I think it's somewhat to blame for certain bad periods of the past 8 or so years.

It's mostly synthetic, though, and it doesn't make you as tired and exhausted as other opiates.  I think that's a large component of it getting big in the recreational scene.  You get the euphoria while still being able to function decently.
