My neighbor gave me the DVD and told me to watch it. I was prepared for ultra generic kidnapping plot (he's a high powered business man looking to make partner!), so that was normal. But the twist fucking enraged me - it must've been written by a woman. I can imagine a group of women watching this as the headline movie for some kind of Lifetime or Oxygen channel tupperware party, and cheering at the end. Fuck that. Totally downer considering the main character is King Leonidas. I was hoping he'd be like, "THIS. IS. CHICAGO!!!" and kick Pierce Brosnan in the balls.
