Well, I was sitting in my friend's last-gen G35 today and I noticed that it has... an analog clock. I asked him if it was optional and he said no. His is a 2006, so I looked up the original 2003 model. It has an analog clock too.

Here are two sources referring to it as an Infiniti signature, so I doubt it's an option in 2003:

Both have analog clocks. Are you lying about owning a G35 or is your car somehow unique?

My older MT ride didnt have the analog clock because i bought it used and the console had new equipment in it because the original owner bought the car bare bones.

The console in my older manual transmission G35 that I was not the first owner of looked nothing like what you picture above.

Keep in mind I also bought it off of one of those ricer doods who pretty much modified most of the car.

But what is your point really? Im lost.

Maybe so, contrary to his claims I don't read the majority of his posts.

Either way, the G35 was introduced in the 2003 MY, not 2002, so with my available info something was definitely amiss in the last posts of his that I had read.

I'd still like to see the dash of this original G35 if he somehow got the year of the car wrong and see what kind of butchery was performed on it.

So here is what happened....

in 2001 I bought my 4th Nissan Maxima.

In 2003-2004 or so I bought a used Infiniti G35 (delivered in 2002) from this ricer guy who couldn't afford to keep tires on the rims.

The Infiniti G35 was not to be my primary vehicle - just a fun race car for weekends....

He just wanted enough $$ to buy a new Toyota Corolla-S or some shyt so I got a good deal considering the parts he added to it.

You are right - it wasnt very clean and the car was riced to hell.

I didnt end up driving it much in the city because of the MT - when I traded it last week along with the Maxima it only had 23,000 or so miles on it.

So thats it - he had installed an LCD screen and a DVD player in the car- the screen was mounted where the analog clock use to be - so technically I didnt have one

I think I have a few pix in my iphoto library somewhere - but they are old!

Now I just have the new Infiniti G35-S and its my primary ride.....

Thats why I may trade it in 6 months and get an M45 - I kinda need a bigger ride.
