So last night i had a nightmare dream that i was beta testing Uncharted 2.
the weird thing is , Sony had the following set up :
1) using motion tracking via the PS Eye it could track movement - take a small step forward to walk, a full step forward to run, i could strafe and lean.
2) using motion tracking via the PS Eye i could point at the screen and shoot my guns a la that episode of Spaced
3) and this was the one! VIRTUAL SLIPPERS. With rumble in my feet, i could feel the crunch of leaves beneath me , shots that landed near my feet, the effect of waves on my feet.
4) in the driving section, i could sit down and move my arms i n the air like i was using a steering wheel, and i could feel use my feel on invisible peddles to go faster/brake.
THIS IDEA IS COPYRIGHT OF ME , but they should make it so. As an pyjama wearing old man, a nice pair of VIRTUAL SLIPPERS(C) would make my gaming life complete and add the sort of immersion sadly missing from this gen.
