Does anyone know anything about the Slayers light novels? Is Lina Inverse always in them? If not, it's possible she may not even be in the show at all, according to the link in the OP.

I only watched the first Slayers series and half of the second, and it's been years. It's time to go dig the entire series up and watch them!

All the light manga novels I see have lina and gourry, and are just adaptations of the tv series. I have never seen a non-lina slayers anything. Im sure megumi would be up for another round if thats what youre worried about.
