Goodbye, Firefox.
« on: February 28, 2008, 06:12:59 PM »
I've been a Firefox user for 3 years.  I loved the extensibility, the speed, and the tab browsing.  However, since IE7 has been released, I've used both concurrently.  IE7 has been running circles around Firefox.  It's considerable faster, more stable and has improved since its release.  Firefox is still plagued with memory leaks, annoying memory leaks which bog down my entire system.  I've tried to all the fixes but Firefox has been stubborn and recent releases have gotten worst.  It's time for me to part ways with Firefox.  I had a great time, Firefox, but your time is now up.

I have no problems with FF. It used to crash and delete my bookmarks every week on my older computer.

Have you tried the current 3.0 beta?  It's said to reduce memory usage significantly.
