i wanted to do technical writing because it would allow me to take difficult abstract concepts and attempt to related them to people

but then i was informed that the editorial staff for those things tend to be technologically ignorant and thus not really good people to be working for considering what you'd be doing

Thursday is going to blow for me. I have a 90 minute layover in Las Vegas. I ship out of Oakland at 10 PM PST and don't arrive in Washington DC 'til 7 AM EST. Worst night ever. Nobody gets a decent night of sleep on an airplane or at an airport!
