I planned on playing a few games and study for my exams a bit, but then I noticed that this was starting on TMC. I haven't seen it since I was in junior high so I decided to watch some of it. I'm still watching it right now. :'( Who the fuck allowed this movie to be over 3 hours long? It's good (I don't care if you disagree), but damn. There goes my night.

Also, what did critics say about it when it first came out?

It's not an awful movie, but they should've removed the flash-forward bookends. Would've made it a much better film, IMO.

The Saving Private Ryan ones actually just ruined the movie for me. The old dude standing in the cementery with his asshole yuppie son and daughter-in-law and shit.
