To Obama fans: Tonight you learned what Boston learned a month ago, and what they will learn again in May. Tonight you learned what 50 Cent learned in September. Tonight you learned what Sony learned last year, and what Nintendo will learn later this year. Only by pride cometh contention. Pride goeth before destruction.
Obama may yet still lock up the nomination, but tonight Hillary may have defeated his November chances. If he couldn't beat her with all the momentum in the world, how can he win when it matters? Hillary defeated him with two negative ads. How does he expect to contend in October if he cannot survive negative ads in March? Hillary ran a disgusting campaign, and I don't support that at all: but I'm a realist. She did Obama a favor by testing him, and tonight he gave us a glimpse of what could happen in the general election.
I'm not happy Obama failed tonight; he's a good man, and I don't like seeing good men fall flat on their face. Honestly I expected Obama to win Ohio at least. But I am happy that the swagger and arrogance is dead in his fans. The holy ghost is gone. The singing slaves by the campfire are now in darkness, their campfire blown out
