So the best thing that came out of the JET Returners' Conference was (sadly) that Apple offers the education discount to JETs. Hopped on over to the Shibuya Apple Store and picked up a white 2.4ghz Macbook.

Getting a 4gb iPod Nano for free too, figure I can sell it off and use the cash towards a nice monitor. The 13" screen seems surprisingly doable for now though.

Also found a PSP-2000 model hard case that's just like the old Logitech one, nice!

That must be pretty cool, moving across the country and stuff. I dunno what I'm gonna do once my contract expires in 2009. They already told me it's basically impossible to even think about a 5th year. I'll probably go home and go back to uni.

When will you be leaving in 2009? Em and I are already planning our 10 day trip back to Japan. We're thinking October 2009.

It has more co-op elements than Gears, yeah. I'd say it is. The aggro system is a pretty great mechanic but the person I was playing with didn't really use it too much. We were mostly just run-and-gun and died...a lot.
