Drupal (CMS)

How do you guys feel about it? I'm in the middle of working on a site for the company I work for, using this framework. It seems to be pretty damn good so far. Some tweaks here and there, and module creation. But for the most it's a good start imo.

Do any of you guys use any CMS's? if so, what do you use? recommend? and like the most?

I use drupal and love it.

We've got a really basic setup at www.smoothjams104.com

As I understand it, it's really extensible if you know your shit. Sites like The Onion use it, and you can tell they've modded the living shit out of it.

Yeah, A LOT of big companies are using it these days. But yeah, it's easily modded. We had to make a few of our own mods for the site I'm working on. But yeah. It gives you a good platform to start w/ and after thats setup it's modding time.

Makes it easier then "make your own"

I heard some people really like Plone. You use it?

I haven't used it but I did some research on it earlier this year when we were trying to figure out if we should use it or drupal. It looks pretty hot, but Drupal is probably a "safer" bet. You can't really go wrong with either.

Yeah, so far Drupal has been really flexible. I'm just curious about Plone, I may test it out on a site of my own. Who knows.
