I dont get this battle system, I enter commands and wait for him to do them while everyone kills it before he does the command I gave him? and then while all the flashy lines get in my face icons pop up when items are dropped?

I made an awesome joke, david bowie was the walkoff judge in zoolander, and in FFXII the main bad guys are the judges. GO me!

MAF if you have gambits on most likely its set to attack on sight, you should change it to attack > party leaders target if it bothers you.

You know I shouldnt have to fucking SUFFER a prologue to get to good examples of the game mechanics. Maybe if I were a pirate id tolerate that lol.

At least it's not like Enchanted Arms that gives you a tutorial for absolutely EVERYTHING. What makes that even dumber is that everything is performed by using the same goddamn button, "A".

yeah its funny the tutorial in FFXII doesnt really try, it actually sez in the middle of an intense situation to walk to try practicing walking towards someone.

Story am important. Trust me when I say the scale of the game will have your mind blown. Its like a MMORPG in terms of area of exploration. You will love it.

I've played about 4 1/2 hours and so far it's really good. I like the battle system a *lot* better for normal battles (since it's fast and I don't have to do much) but I'm still unsure if I like it for boss battles. And the story/characters are great for the first time since, well, it has been a good 10 years. The camera is slightly annoying and I already don't like the license board but I can live with that.

VP2's battle system is superior. And anyone that tell's me its mash mash isnt very good at VP games ;p
