I'm kind of thinking about picking that stuff up since I'm not getting a Wii (or playing Zelda

) anytime soon, and my 360 purchase is 3-4 months away.

I played the Guild Wars demo, and I thought it was fun for a few days, then I lost interest. WoW looks more interesting because I'm already familiar with the world of Azeroth, and I like WarCraft in general.

But, I have a big problem with paying to play stuff. If I'm going to be paying a set fee to play a game, I'll want to get everything out of my money. For people who play WoW, is it worth the money you pay? About how much do you play? I'd have a lot of time to play it on the weekends, as well as Mon./Wed. Plus, it might help me become more organized with studying. I could stay at the library for a set amount of time, and then go home and play WoW for the rest of the night.

Its fuckin cheap. You dont HAVE to get addicted, rest EXP goes a long way.

I mean if people would do the fucking MATH and see just how much god damned content has been added to WoW WITHOUT AN EXPANSION PACK and compare it to every MMORPG in history, they wouldnt bring up the value question.

About how long do you play on a normal work day, as compared to say Saturday?

I just played for 30 minutes. That got me a level because I hadn't played for two days and the rest EXP was considerable.

On weekends ill play 2-3 hours except in extreme situations like last weekend

Dude, the game costs 20 bucks. Pay for one month of playing @ 15 bucks and cancel if you dislike it. Check it out.

WoW is more time consuming than fun. It's not bad, but it's generally overrated and playing casually doesn't work since you are paying a fee for a game you're not playing.

Meh, Guild Wars is free. But you still couldn't pay me to play it. Spending two hours shouting "RDM LOOKING FOR PT LVL 13" in The Dunes in FF XI was more fun that Guild Wars.

This reminds me, PD, MMO genre is based upon carrot on a stick gameplay. So if you dig that then WoW may rox your sox.

You can't bait me. And you know I could dictate actual points, but the thread is about WoW.

I played three months of wow and quit because it felt more like work than fun. The carrot on a stick thing involved too much grind and wasn't rewarding enough. I thnk PD may like it for it's social aspects, as it can be a big old chatroom.

WoW is worth it for all the WoW drama you are bound to see. Some of those people are way too emotionally involved with the game and their guilds.
