I love him so much.  His solo stuff isn't anything to really write home about, but it's still pretty good.  What he did with Matchbox 20 was pure magic though.  *huggles*

I think they're just on hiatus while he has his fun as a solo artist.  I dunno though.  On their DVD The Show they talked about how they broke up several times while making Mad Season.  Not to mention, Rob Thomas used to be a heavy coke user.  I'm sure that didn't help.  I don't know if he's still on the stuff.  On his Behind The Music interview, he was talking about his weight and drug problem when they first got famous.  He said everyone told him he was the only person they knew that did coke and gained weight.  lolz. 

Bent was the first song I ever heard from them and it amazed me.  I don't listen to it much anymore because I played the shit out of it. 

Mad Season was my favorite cd of theirs for a long time until I got used to the more raw, and not heavily produced, style of Yourself or Someone Like You.

Kody was awesome.  It hit home right after my best friend committed suicide and it was when I fell in love with that song, which made me fall in love with the album.

I've seen them in concert 6 times.     Great shows everytime.

And can you believe that he used to think he couldn't sing???  I LOVE HIS VOICE!  The only reason he began singing was because he was originally just a song writer for Breakfast at Tiffany's, until he realized that he hated someone else singing his songs.  Thank god he decided to sing, because the singer for Breakfast at Tiffany's fucking sucked.
