Since we are, in fact, LIVING IN THE FUTURE RIGHT NOW, I fail to see the need for the continued adherence to this outmoded ritual. But no! Apparently in the past couple years it has been decided that we need MORE OF IT.

The daylight savings time we just finished was gay, with the longer night, but the extra hour of day is what I consider to be the real way things work. It just makes more sense. The sun going down at 4:30 doesn't make sense.

I'm okay. It's not too serious. I do some light therapy and I generally don't have any lasting problems. But I hate everything about winter...I hate short days, I hate darkness, I hate cold, I hate snow...looking out my window in late December is suffocating.

Summer totally changes my life every year. I have more energy, I'm happier, I get to wear more comfortable clothes, I go swimming, it's vacation time, I see my family....mmm.....

DST is always the opening salvo in the WAR ON WINTER

My grades usually go up during March too.

One of my profs in undergrad brought one of those light therapy machines to class one time. He turned it on, and like the dumbass I was, I happened to be sitting in the front row. I couldn't sleep until 5:00 am that night. :'(
