I loved Melee, but not having any wavebirds means that I won't buy brawl.  Wiimote fails me again.  And no, I don't want to use the classic controller for this game.  The CC kinda sucks too outside of playing SNES games on it.

I just use my regular gamecube controller. I finished the story mode in about 6 hours. I've got all 35 characters and 36 of the stages so far. About 10 hours total logged.

I would use my regular gamecube controllers if my setup would allow it.  But it doesn't.  And I LOVED Smash Bros.

I think SSE is garbage. I'm very, very early in (4%), but it feels tacked on. The controls don't work for platforming like that.

Yeah, the SSE doesn't really get much better.  Better designed areas and characters, but it basically stays the same in concept.
