Taking a cue from one of guy guys a few years back (TVC, I think. Possibly MAF. Maybe none of you fuckers, or maybe all of you.), I've had this idea rolling around in the back of my head for awhile now, but I haven't had a real way to implement it.
In trying to increase visitors to our radio show site (see the stickied topic) and increase listeners to the actual show / podcast, we've begun implementing some new stuff to the site. I just added a Music Reviews section to the site, and I'm going to add a Movie Reviews section soon.
And since I'm doing that anyway, I thought it'd be awesome to do it in the most excruciatingly fun way possible: by letting people pick the movies I watch and review. As long as I can get my hands on a movie, and assuming it's one I think would make for a fun review, I'll put the review up on the site and talk about the movie on the radio show. It's a win-win for everyone. It'll hopefully increase site traffic and get more people interested in our show.
Before I go ahead and make this a live feature, I wanted to get some input from peeps here. Do you guys think it's a good idea/ I think it could produce some fun results, but if others think it'd be a wash I might not even go live with it.
