As someone who is blessed with good genetics when it comes to this (all of my relatives on my dad's side of the family are pretty thin - though my lifestyle choices such as diet and exercise certainly help), I have to wonder, is it really that hard to lose all this weight? Provided you can give yourself a bit of motivation to watch what you eat and drink and go to the gym. I know quite a few people that went from being pretty chubby to thin/average body types in the course of a few months. I think that if people just replaced all that soda they drink with green tea and water, we'll be seeing at least a bit of improvement.
