Seriously tho, Bluray wins and PS3 sales increase? Ill give a nod when I see more than two titles on the top 10 :/

I better see MLB The Show 08 on that fucking list next month or Sony fans are distinguished mentally-challenged fellows.

My wife and I talked last night about getting a PS3 for high def DVD videos. I said that the cheapest/best value would probably be a PS3 and she was like "really? what a waste".

I love my wife.  :heartbeat :heartbeat :heartbeat

I suppose I could get a separate drive for my HTPC but I'd rather not deal with the fruitiness of whatever DRM monster lives in those drives/playback software mixed with my non-HDMI TV.

Are LO's numbers really that good?  I can't see MS giving Mistwalker a FF-like budget for their next game if LO doesn't sell at least a million worldwide.

for it's budget? nope, it isn't.

but it's great for a jrpg game on a us console in the us.

I guess MS might just keep funding JRPGS even if they lose money.  They have to make the 360 more viable for gamers that still think of Xboxes as having nothing but shooters, racers and sports games.

i think it's a long term project just like rare.

mistwalker: rpgs
rare: family games

they are not the best sellers (on the xbox anyway) but they are a must.

Is calcifer gonna suck some dick on LO?

360's increased sales rate proves the shortage last month, March should put it back where it belongs. Or prove some PS3 momentum, it's certainly doing better this year than it was in Nov/Dec last year.

360 DEVIL MAY CRY 4* CAPCOM USA 8-Feb 295.2K 2
PS3 DEVIL MAY CRY 4* CAPCOM USA 8-Feb 233.5K 4

B-B-BUT PEOPLE ASSOCIATE DMC TO THE PLAYSTATION NAME! IT'LL NEVER SELL MORE ON THE 360!

People are going to be real hurt come GTA4.

Considering how big the difference between the user installed base from the 360 and PS3 is, those numbers really aren't bad. It's only 60k ahead. Of course GTA4 will sell more on the 360, but don't expect the difference to be huge, just like you saw here.

interesting that lost odyssey did in usa what blue dragon did in japan and blue dragon did in usa what lost odyssey did in japan

going by chart position they did about the same in europe. blue dragon only dropped from 5 to 9, though, and was released during a busier time so actual sales numbers might be higher for blue dragon

200k is good for a jrpg in america on xbox but that's about it

i doubt square will rush to port ff13 to 360 (if they aren't already) over 200k though

also cutsie jrpgs (aka 90% of jrpgs) have yet to do "ok" on 360 in usa
