Its awesome ultimate. I still use my HP tx1000 cause its a badass Windows laptop, but the mac is oh so stylish and fun to use.

Geforce 6800 Ultra (It was a fuck-up, they mailed me a free 7800 GTX, but I never installed it. I'll look for it, though).

The battery is fucked, though. You need to buy a new one if you want to use the computer without a power cord. I'll throw in its official backpack, laptop cooler, and a G7 mouse too.

Love my new MacBook; I have only encountered one single issue so far, and that was trying to get some animu .ogm movies to play. I got no sound in VLC and another player only gave me English language. But it was only those movies out of hundreds of others, so fuck 'em. Plus I'll have Boot Camp running this week and shitty windowz programs can then be used if needed.

Love how damn quiet it runs, too. My Area 51m is so fucking loud in comparison.

Well, I haven't done any gaming yet beyond some messing around with MAME OSX, so I dunno. Did you get the new 2.4ghz model? I'm waiting until I get Windows XP in the mail this week to mess around and see how shit runs. I want to use Boot Camp and try out a few things like Titan Quest, Outrun 2006, and maybe some more intensive stuff. But the MacBook's integrated card is supposed to be worse than ATI Radeon 9600 I have in my Alienware. The faster processor and more RAM should help though, right?

nope. the X3100 is a decent integrated gpu, but it pales next to a discrete solution -- even an old 9600.

my HP tx1000 is better for gaming, but the MacBook will run WoW. I currently dont have plans to run Vista on my Mac tho, kinda defeats the purpose

If you want one, and its within your means, get one. The Mac mini and Macbooks are among the most affordable options for the Macintosh line, which are still pretty expensive. Apple also sells refurbs on their website at a decent discount.
