I'm not gonna have any work to do for the next week or so.  Maybe I'll finally buy some shit, like a 360 and hdtv.

No, I'm editing commercials and corporate training videos on a beach somewhere.  But since I'm freelance, I don't really have control over my workflow.  I'm in a lull right now and should probably not be spending money (trying to buy a house sometime this year) but will probably end up doing so in a couple days out of boredom.

I've found the best way to not spend money is to live on the beach with a bunch of dogs.  Then you can take the dogs on nice long walks on the beach- it tires you out and is fun.  Also, ROMZ lol.  I've played more gba rpgs than I did when I had a gba.

Been super productive this morning.  Mostly due to all the urgent tasks that need to be taken care of.  I work better under pressure, sadly.

i wonder what it's like to post on forums while at work

do you guys make the window smaller so that people can't see where you're posting? i do it when i'm in the library, and when everyone can see me. if not, i'll just sit all the way in the back so that no one behind can see what i'm looking at

what if people see me browsing a gaming forum? :(

My workplace just cares if I get my work done.  They don't care if I browse or post on boards.  They don't even look over my shoulder to see what's going on my computer.  My direct supervisor see sit right behind and can see everywhere I go, but she rarely looks.  We are treated like adults, not children who need structure.  Again, all that matters, for my work place, is if my work get done.

Why is everybody so damn hung-up on being secretive about where they work (unless you work for the NSA, in which case you probably better not)? I figure as long as you're not sharing company secrets, what the fuck is the problem.

I work in a computer lab at LCC (Lexington Community College, now called BCTC) making 6.75/hr just for making sure college students don't burn the place down, steal all the monitors, etc. I also load the printer ( :bow HP :bow2 , even though my pops worked for Lexmark/IBM for 30 years). I basically get paid to troll forums and be aware.

My facebook ain't got a picture, because of my troll-like visage.

EDIT: Not saying that's why yours doesn't have a pic, but bloodwake can vouch for my ugliness.
EDIT 2: I also just realized how my first sentence reads. Sorry for any confusion.

because this forum isn't hidden from google bots and as such is findable through routine searches

Come to work this morning and half the office is drunk already.  Most of the people here don't have half the workload that I do and we have a deadline right around the corner.  Being drunk can be fun, but being sober at 9am at work while everyone else is drunk is fucking annoying.

I've done nothing today so far.

...whatever. You make too much for what you do.  :maf

So I actually got ALL MY WORK DONE and didn't slack today...

Now I am going to slack. The newsletter I put together is done and so is everything else. Time for a smoke break and some preparations to slack for about two hours, getting paid just to hang around on Evilbore.

It's 10am, I'm still tired from my trip last week and only getting 3-4 hours sleep a night and all I want to do is go home. I'll be lucky to do 20 minutes of work today.
