I wonder what Drinky's playing at. Would suck if the game is 1080p native or something and the internal scaler is fucking shit up.

According to the back of the box, the game is 720p, so if you're playing it at 1080p, I'm guessing the PS3 is upscaling it.

720p ps3 games won't upscale unless you disable 720p in the dashboard. maybe the timing feels laggy because it's 30fps? iirc all the other games are 60

I've also noticed that the framerate stutters, sometimes, usually associated with hitting an obstacle. I had the ball bouncing between a tree and a rock, and it was definitely a bit choppy. The more I play, the more I think that the tech was just kinda rushed. I really hope workable online is included in the sequel.

I didn't even think of that. You know, last night, when I was playing and it was bugging me, I did have it plugged in. The other day, when I first got the game, I didn't have it plugged in, but at the time I wasn't experiencing lag. Maybe it has something to do with the controller being charged while playing?

I can do more tests later. or tomorrow.

I thought that even if you plugged in the PS3 controller, all it did was charge it, it didn't make any difference for anythng else?

That was my understanding too, it's still bluetooth but just charging the battery.

ps3 controllers actually use the usb connection if you plug them in -- you never get signal dropouts that way. 360 controllers just charge over usb.

Have to say I'm not as annoyed by the Advanced Swing as I was with the demo. I still came 20th in my first challenge, but by the end of the course I was doing quite well with it.

I agree with your list Mojovonio. The amount of content (or lack of) is a bit annoying. I guess we'll be seeing much more content with the next release (hopefully a return to the ingame store). The random card thing is dumb.

I'm addicted to this badly. I've almost cleared the second level of challenges, got my first hole in one (177yd Par 3) and am suffering with the wind at Okinawa.

Can't wait to try some online tournaments. Can different regions play against each other? Would be good to have an EB tourney
