The best thing about Sim City games is building a utopian society using cheat codes and then watching the very foundations of your civilization breakdown as reality sets in.

Pfft, nothing as usual. I just got back from my parent's house; today was my grandfather's birthday so we went to see him.

I'll probably watch the game, play some Wolfenstein, and maybe check watch Princess Mononoke again (which I recently downloaded of Limewire lolz).

I fail at weekends :-\

Going out to dinner shortly with a couple of friends, gonna be an early night so I'll probably come back and play FFXII a bit.  Gotta work most of the weekend unfortunately, but I'm trying to arrange a group to see Borat (or maybe The Departed? Still have to see that shit)--my friends are totally unreliable though, so who knows, maybe I'll be jackin it.

Since you're a traditional HS student I'd advise you to take it and not screw around. You're 17, and by the time SATs are given out again you'll probably have little time to apply to a college.

I didn't have this problem because I had around 90 college credits before I applied to any university. I was able to transfer as a junior, saving my parents a lot of money and myself a lot of time. I could have got a 9 on the ACT and still got in lol. Only thing that held me out of going to UofM was their stupid legal battles with my school; sometimes I hate tightass Michigan people. They wouldn't accept my credits because I was taking college classes long before I officially graduated from highschool or something like that.

But once I got into EMU, UofM started contacting me begging me to come there; WTF? They sent me tickets to a Michigan game and everything, but I was too pissed to go. I'll transfer there soon, but they really pissed me off.

Where are you thinking of going to college? Out of state perhaps? Maybe somewhere in Michigan? :)

If I were you...I'd stay in school at all costs. If a draft breaks out, dropouts and guys who aren't in school are the first to be looked at.

Taking time off before college is one of the best things I ever did, and I think it can be smart as long as you do it right. It gave me time to save up money and travel a lot, and buy a lot of the things I wanted. It also taught me a lot about what it's like to work a 40-hour week. A lot of people come out of college with little to no experience in the workforce.

Edit: Since we're all flashing our e-penises, I got a 30 on the ACT without studying. I got 99% of the questions correct in the entire English section.
