Beezy beat me fair and square with the burden of a fuckload of lag, no less.

First match was Sonic (me) vs Lucas (Beezy).  He completely fucking killed me here, I was down to one life when he was at 60% with all three left.  I always thought Sonic's speed was an asset, and I usually dominate my friends with him, but Lucas is strangely good I guess.

Second match was a win for me.  It was at Halberd again jsut cause I don't mind the place.  This time I was Wolf against his Lucas.  And it was a close damn match, but I edged out.  Thsi was a great match.

Next match pissed me off, seeing as I guess he was toying with em the whole time.   :'(  He was Zero Suit Samus against my Wolf, and because of Wolf's fucking awful recover skills, I lost two lives wiuthout him really even doing anythnig to me.  I suck at Wolf's recover, I guess.

Sweet. Seeing as how bluemax vs. tehjaybo still hasn't happened, I'm granting the win to tehjaybo since he has stayed in contact with me regularly and I know he's been trying to have the match. Sorry, bluemax, I don't want this tournament lasting until july.

If you can still play post in this thread, or I can remove you if you want. I know you are having a lot of work at the moment.

Wolf's recovery IS horrible. It's like they took the worst things about Fox/Falco's recovery and decided to make them worse. Oh, I didn't fall off the stage enough times in Melee thanks to their Side-Special! Thanks for making Wolf's bizarrely angled one even more susceptible to falling off stages! And thank goodness the Up-Special for all three Star Fox characters now goes less distance than in Melee before they give out and send you falling almost straight down, unable to move.

It's their own biggest weakness, and it's even worse in Brawl. Many a match I've lost online because a bit of lag caused the wrong move to be made, and lives still unmarred by high percentages were needlessly lost.


Then again, there's also that "lip" that many stages seem to have now. As a Snake/Wolf player, those make recovery... very, very, VERY annoying. CYPHER to recover... and it gets stuck under the lip. CYPHER gives out, Snake falls, no time to use C4 or a grenade to hurt myself and CYPHER again.
