Speaking purely as an observer: My faith in you, the people of america, couldn't be lower. So I still think you fuck this up somehow

Japanese website Xbox-News.com has had a watchful eye on the Japanese Xbox.com pages, and it appears the Ikaruga page went up a little early, and with a release date!http://www.xbox.com/ja-JP/games/i/ikarugaxboxlivearcade/details.page/
I so suck at 2d shooters.
Joining the fabulous lineup of puzzle games available on Xbox 360, “MR. DRILLER Online” comes to Xbox LIVE Arcade this Wednesday, April 2, 2008
Yes in the US, it is on Major Nelson's site
Mr. Driller is up now.apparently there is no offline multiplayer.
yup.it's a shit port, I'm saving my points for Ikaruga.
I wish I was a PS3 fan so I could save money. It's so thoughtful that they don't have any new PSN releases for two weeks.
Quote from: AdmiralViscen on April 02, 2008, 11:51:13 PMWhat's wrong with the online? uber lag?You know how you have to code a game to deal with lag - and in some cases it means over-compensating, like in N+ where a mine will explode even though noone has touched it because it is guessing your online play buddy hit it, but he's still alive...Well, Mr. Driller has an issue where blocks that you drill do not disappear... think about that for a second... a game where the sole purpose of the game is to drill through blocks, but you can't. The game is rendered unplayable.Even playing with people in Japan this happens, so I don't know how little lag it needs to actually work. Even a seven year old could have coded better logic than this.

looks like i was right about mr driller and eb was wrong ahahahahah"omg it's on xbox so it must be godly "nicca please
Ikaruga, however, is godly. So was Rez.
I don't understand why MS can force Epic to charge for new maps to avoid devaluing other people's DLC, but it won't force this game to have acceptable netcode to avoid devaluing XBLA.Even IGN gave it a 2.8http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/864/864065p1.html

That IGN review is just an extreme score for the sake of it.Single player is fine. If you like the series, you can't go wrong with this. It's back to basics, in most respects, but the items make it a more interesting game.Online is totally broken, but I assume Namco will fix this.
