You forgot to mention that all PSN updates are suspended for 2 weeks while this is worked out.

We'll be lucky if our PS3s turn on at all when in-game XMB is launched.

I use my debit card all the time on PSN.  But with the recent security mess up I would like to see some pre-paid cards as well.
