I think all of the parts that were supposed to be funny in this movie, were in fact not funny and are simply a carefully arranged 'comedy' formula to appeal to people with the mental capacity of a grapefruit.

I think my biggest problem with Borat was that outside of the amateurish take on the Christopher Guest-styled pseudo-documentary, Sasha Baron Cohen is just really a very bad comedic actor. I'd love to laugh at him, but he's too smug to be an earnest failure.

I don't get how the last movie did so bad and yet this is doing so good.

And his show is aweful. He can't make a good joke so he plays off of the stereotype and prays he's interviewing a poor fuck with no sense of sarcasm.
