Aside from Grand Theft Boring IV, is there anything coming out on my beloved Xbox the new few months that looks worthwhile?  I went next door to see my neighbor play through the first level of Dark Sector, and that looks kind of interesting.  I think I'm burn out on Vegas 2.

O SNAP!

I forgot that Ninja Gaiden II is due out in a few months.  Maybe I should track down a copy of Ninja Gaiden Sigma so I know what the story is (is there even a story?).

i doubt this would be long, 10 hours max.

less/no more backtracking, puzzles, platforming...etc...

besides, both are on different platforms, pretty healthy if you ask me, and it's not like NG sells million in it's first month or something.

I really like the look of Alone in the Dark.  Dead Space is the other one I'm excited for, but I don't think that's "next few months".

So it's AT LEAST a 2/10.

Condemned 2 is totally awesome, but it does have less consistency in its levels than the original, and also it's way too easy

I liked the direction that Monolith took, obviously they changed the game's look a bit for the sequel in order to gain a bigger audience by say, making Ethan Hunt 20 years younger and giving him a beard and a physique reminiscent of Sam Fisher, and they turned Rosa from a middle-aged caucasian woman into a 28 years-old black chick

but most of all the game knows that it's cheesy, that it's nothing but a b-grade, direct to video horror film in game form, it embraces these aspects and that's what makes it enjoyable

I loved how they hinted at a sequel in the ending too

it's garbage, it's f-grade "whoops we meant to make FEAR instead" crap in game form, it embraces these aspects and thats what makes it shit

the devs even mentioned how they basically rushed it, how can you even accept that

and i bought it and got all 1000 so my opinion is lauded higher than yours

i dont even know if lauded is a real word, it sounded right

you people are in the minority for disliking Condemned 2 this time

I guess I just love roaming around in virtual deserted buildings and offices too much

but I see these elements that you criticize as changes that Monolith made to make the game more appealing to the mainstream and have nothing against them

it's a story about supernatural forces and power, is that so absurd to think that the protagonist would get a scary supernatural power that would allow him to wreak havoc around him... sounds right out of a B horror movie too, it's fantastic

I put in an hour and half or so to Condemned 2 last night, and so far it's fantastic.  I've started on Hard difficulty for something different and even though I died twice the checkpoints are placed well so it's not frustrating.

I find the combat much easier than the first one so far.  I was never very good at blocking in the first one but this one is a lot better.  And the combos are great.  I heard some people complain "OMG there's a distracting combo meter!!" - I can't believe they'd complain about such a tiny little combo icon.  I'm loving the combat.  It's deeper, but not ridiculously complex.

Plus it's got both ingredients for a great survival horror: it's slow & unsettling. Level design is great so far.

Overall it feels really polished.  So far so good.
