I enjoyed the first Hellboy a whole ton as a fun action movie, and I expected the same of this, but that trailer got me SO HYPED for this. Great visuals in there, and I like the Pans-y look of some of the monsters. I hope they fit some awesome Lovecraft references in there!

del Toro. If anyone can make a decent LOTR-related movie, it might be him.

So you've warmed up a bit to the Hobbit news TVC? Seems like every week brings good Hobbit news (Sir Ian back, Howard Shore burying the axe and returning, etc) but I'm still a bit hesitant

anyway, meh to hellboy, but i'll give it a chance due to the awesome-ness of pan's

The only thing that worries me and I mentioned it before, is that Danny Elfman is scoring Hellboy 2 instead of Marco Beltrami. :/

New trailer is pretty wicked. Really looks like Del Toro has nailed a consistent look for the film. I really, really like the original a whole bunch, but my major peeve is that some sequences look and feel like Del Toro rubbed one off on celluoid (the Wolfenstein bit in the beginning, all the stuff in Moscow, etc.) and the rest the vision was limited due to financial constraints (or producers!).
