I have to go get my eyes dilated this afternoon. Does this entail wedging pliers in my eye sockets and repeatedly opening them and spinning them around until there are two little vagina-like orifices where my eyes once were?
It's not a problem at all, I had to get my eyes dilated numerous times during the whole LASIK experience... the doctor basically just drops eyedrops into your eyes, tells you to wait, and then studies them, like Tauntaun says. But depending on the eyedrops used, you may have trouble seeing stuff close to you for up to 3-4 hours afterwards. The first time I went for my eyes to be dilated, I could not make out text on the computer screen, even though the drive home from the eye doctors wasn't too bad. The second time, this effect wore off after about 20-30 min.
